News
We’ve had some great performances lately, but we’ve also been prioritizing some of our other projects. Take a look below to see where some of our time, energy, and love has gone recently.
Care Cafés
We regularly host Care Cafés at La MaMa Experimental Theater Club. These have been an incredible way to gather together with community new and old in a spirit of care. They’ve truly been an anchor of communitas for us in a turbulent world. We regularly post about upcoming Care Cafés on the Care Café Facebook page.
Publications
Benjamin Gillespie has been working on two big projects that we are included in for years now. The big news is one of them is published and the other is on its way! You can read Late Stage: Theatrical Perspectives on Age and Aging written by Benjamin Gillespie and Cindy Rosenthal, with Elinor Fuchs (published March 2026) now, which features Peggy’s work. Split Britches: Fifty Years On comes out April 2027, and will highlight some of our works that have never before been published.
Interventions
We’ve been hosting a range of interventions like sit downs to speak outs. More and more we find ourselves drawn to creating small events that engage with civic action and building community.
Workshops
We love hosting workshops! And there have been some good ones lately - like Lois’s “Answering the Call” put on with Future Ritual.
Documentary
For several years our dear friends Claire Nolan and Matt Delbridge have been working on a documentary about us. And every day we get closer to you being able to see it! You can read a little more about it over on the GoFundMe page, and here is a sneak peak trailer:
